At Chennupati Indo‑American School of Pharmacy, our research projects drive innovation in pharmaceutical sciences, and both students and faculty actively participate in drug development, clinical studies, and collaborative experiments, gaining valuable hands-on experience. At Chennupati Indo-American School of Pharmacy (IASP), several ongoing research projects are being carried out by faculty, research scholars, and students. Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS) Development of nanoparticles, liposomes, microspheres, and mucoadhesive gels. Targeted and sustained-release formulations for cancer and chronic diseases. Research on transdermal patches and oral thin films for improved patient compliance.

Phytochemistry & Herbal Research Standardization & fingerprinting of herbal extracts using HPTLC/HPLC. Development of anti-acne gels, wound-healing ointments, and herbal nutraceuticals. Exploring polyherbal formulations with synergistic therapeutic effects. Safety & efficacy evaluation of Ayurvedic and Siddha-based formulations.

Pharmacological Screening & Toxicology Preclinical testing of synthetic and herbal compounds using animal simulators. Toxicity studies ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Behavioral studies and CNS/CVS models to assess drug action. Ethical alternatives to animal testing, including computer-based simulations.

Pharmaceutical Analysis Development of stability-indicating analytical methods for anticancer and antidiabetic drugs. Bioanalytical method validation as per ICH & USFDA guidelines. Application of LC-MS/MS and HPLC in drug quantification. Analytical research in impurity profiling & degradation kinetics.

Clinical Pharmacy & Regulatory Research Adverse Drug Reaction (ADR) monitoring in oncology and cardiovascular patients.
